If you continue to have issues after doing all of the above, it may be time to consider a factory reset of the phone. You can then Pin this to your start screen. Upon reboot of the phone go to the applications list where you should find Cortana listed in alphabetical order.If you have made any changes here you should see an option to restart the phone on this page.Make sure the country/Region is United States and make sure the Regional format is either "match phone language" or English (United States). Once that is done, tap and hold and then select the region options listing.You can do this by tapping and hold this option and selecting the move up option. If you see multiple languages listed here it would be best to have English (United States) set as the primary.If you do not, tap the add language icon and add English (United States). ![]() Make sure you see English (United States) here.
